    South bound!

Either in the deuce or a tent. And if you have something that'll muffle gimp's snoring, that'd be great. I just hope I can keep my dang coughing under control.

How do you Paint a Deuce?

Good info here. Just to add my two cents, I've painted trucks in a big gravel parking lot. As long as the wind isn't bowing too bad, it's ok. I've also heard of guys driving out to a field and spraying the truck with the on board air... While it's running. Just watch out for overspray. You...

    Kentucky Recovery

Nice parking job there, Cletus! Is the tow rig the same one that did 8,791 miles an hour when you brought it home?

    New to the Deuce/5-Ton

I sent you a pm because I'm gonna be up in your area with a few trucks. We can meet up and you'll see what they can do. The steering isn't that bad once you get used to it... Don't forget to keep your thumbs out!

    South bound!

ROAD TRIP!!! I wish I was packing a fat wallet for this one, but it looks like I'm just gonna be along to do the manual labor and flick ruber bands at gimp to keep him awke. Where did I put those rubber bands?

    M116A2 in M105 ?

Yup, it'll fit. And it's a pain to load and unload without at least a bobcat or something.

    Are there pros or cons

Just a little something from the peanut gallery... I like the kaisers for sentimental reasons, but the difference doesn't amount to a hill o' beans. And I've seen a wide range of years for the company changeovers. My 71 818's are Kaisers.

    M818 24volt to 12volt trailer lights

Coulda just swapped the bulbs and built a plug adapter.

    Glow plug question

My flame heater is INOP, and the truck always started. Except when one of the batteries clapped out.

    Glow plug question

There could also be an ether start kit installed instead of the flame heater. Either way, grab the tm's and start reading in your spare time. You'll be glad you did.

    Pig cooker/smoker trailer?

I saw a cooker online and immediately thought of this thread. Not quite military themed, but it did take some imagination to pull off.

    Classified "wanted" section?

But when you look in the ad listings it doesn't specify. Unless the poster thinks to add the word "wanted" in the title. I've clicked on a few things looking for parts only to find out it was someone looking for the same thing I was.

    Practical uses for a Deuce

Heated floor?! Don't forget the crystal chandelier. :D (Just funnin') My reasoning is if you have enough room to park one, there really isn't a good reason not to have one. And if you don't have the room, you really need to move.

    Sea Mule

I like the idea, but let's put a little more thought into the name! ;-) There's really no use for serious watercraft around here. The river is all dammed up, and almost all the locks are busted.
