Yep my ground wire broke off on mine it was a pain getting my hand in over the top of the tank to fix it the broken wire but been fixed ever since with no issues.
I did this to my m1009 the civy seats bolt right in they use different holes though but its ok as they are there and still like the m1009 seat bolts where they are a welded nut style to the floor it will work might need to chase the holes first though for the civy seats to bolt in.
I had a smiler issues as you. I had both alts rebuilt twice at 2 different shops where I told them i want everything inside tested and replaced if needed. Well I still had the light on. I finally said screw it and opened them up what I found was that not everything was new the internal voltage...
pads are easy rotors well thats another story you need special 4 wheel drive socket and have to disassemble the whole hub assymbally practically to replace the rotors. For me I just checked them for out of round on 5 or 6 different spots with my mic gauge and they where with in specs so alight...
ha ha ha I have to laugh just 2 years ago or so I flew from mn to Denver then drove my m1009 back from there course it was winter and what a long drive with no cruise or radio (I still hear voices now and then from it lol) But there is no way I would do it in this heat poor truck and not to...
Do you have a solargizer? I have one on my truck and even with no battery's in the truck I get 24 volts from it on a good sunny day. Belive me I was scratching my head trying to figure out what was going on.
I used rubber cane bottoms from the hardware store these are the little rubber feet at the bottom of the cane just used some rtv and popped right in dont recall the size though.
whenever I would take off i could see and feel the steering wheel move up and down also under hood I could grab the shaft (hey no funny stuff now) and move it up and down and side to side about 1 or 2 16ths on an inch. After removing the old bearing found out 2 of the balls in it where gone. got...
well tore into it today with using the tm it was not bad did have to pull the column out though about half hour to do that ordered up new from local dealer should have it tomorrow the very bottom one was missing two ball bearings!! the rest are still good.
Anyone ever rebuild the steering column? Mine has a lot of slop right where the bottom bearing is so I am looking to see if anyone has ever replaced the bottom bearing? This is in a 1009
i used to run into this from time to time when I was active with our hmmwv trucks. I got sick of crawling underneath to bang the starter so what I found works as well is just pop the hood and if your belts are good and your strong enough to just turn the engine over by hand from the front it...
i did mine from firewall to tailgate up both sides and did the inside roof front and rear also with rhino helped quit it down a bit and everything's protected now. I also did it on the outside like a rocker panel design front to rear both sides just below the wheel wells if you want some pics...
I am thinking of doing a spin on filter for fuel mod but have a slight issue as I have the arctic heaters in my truck so not alot of room. Could I go with the racor 445r filter setup or is 45 gph not enough for our trucks? I tried looking for several hours on what the flow rate is for a 6.2...
yep the government throws alot of good stuff away in the drmo dumps over there and in iraq where I was. My last tour I got a perfectly good toyota landcruiser that was last registered to the gulf states oil company out of Kuwait (wonder how it got to be up in baghdad area?) but any how all I had...
the lines are part of a in vehicle NBC filter setup. you hook your mask up to it and a small blower sucks air from in the cabin then sends it through a filter for NBC contaminates then up to your mask. they work pretty good also if you have a dummy that drops a CS gas canister inside the vehicle...
