I could imagine that the sender units pipe is too long to just pull up and out.
the sending unit in the link has a different top. Plus i dont want to modify the wiring. I like plug and play
I know the sender is faulty. it shows open when it should have a resistance. I just wanted to know if someone had opened one up, yet.

Maybe you can post some photo's of your engine, especially the driver side ... the Air compressor area. There are not that many places where the oil can come from and there are tell tale signs .
Then you can go from there.

I heard about a case where the pump in the transmission failed . I think the symptoms were similar. I think that fellas truck has been towed over a period of time with all 4 wheels on the ground and driveshafts connected
Can you put a prybar through the inspection hole and while holding the torque converter try and mone the flexplate with the bar and see what happens. Does the converter move?
You'd do all of this with engine off, of course.
Even if the torque converter would not be bolted on, then the flex plate would still spin. Or the truck would not start.
Not sure what anyone would want to see in a video that one couldnt figure out in ones head.
