    Brake issue…what would you do?

I’ll check tomorrow. As for now I remember the MC cap had what looked like an axle vent cap installed, it made for a fast removal of the cap, I was surprised. The original vent line was still sitting to the side unhooked and not capped.

    Brake issue…what would you do?

It did have some fluid left but very close to empty. I topped it off. I then when to the bleeder at the air pack and bled until no air. That’s when I noticed a leak at the rear axle, a broken line right at the t-block. I removed the rubber line that goes to the rear axle, and I put a plug in it...

    Brake issue…what would you do?

Cleaning out the cab from the previous owner, I found a wheel cylinder and about 2quarts of DOT 3. Knowing it takes DOT 5, I reached out to him, yet again. He’s probably thinking I’m a pain by now, but then again, he should be happy I care enough to get things fixed. Anyways, he told me he...

Bought a Deuce need some advice

I’d say depending on length of time it sat, check the fuel tank for nasties, drain and clean if needed. Change all the fuel filters from the start. Check and/or replace air filter. Change engine oil and filters. That would be a minimum for me. Fresh fuel and filters. Fresh oil and filters.

    Brake issue…what would you do?

Ok, let me start by saying my truck has ZERO pedal for braking. Most of you reading this know I just got my truck running the other day. The brakes are the next thing on the list that need repaired.(I do know I have one bad air tank, I have a new one in route and that will be replaced first)...

No fuel at injectors, after replacing filters. Advice needed.

Read through that thread that was linked and check everything mentioned. It was my truck mentioned and let me tell you the struggle! Haha. Sounds exactly like my issue, fuel is still being cut off. I strongly urge you to go through that thread word for word. It’s gotta contain something...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Sorry it was late and I went to bed. Sorry for the delay. Main benefit will be more consistent fuel delivery. It won’t be compensated/limited. You will gain more power because of the better fuel delivery and equating more fuel. You may have to adjust fuel down. You may gain some smoke because...

    Can’t get this to start…FIXED!!!

Ok, here’s what I found. I wish I would have taken pictures but I didn’t so I’ll explain it the best I can. I’m sure I’ll catch some slack or a few I told you so’s. I decided to fully remove the fuel shut off assembly after I posted that first video last night, even though it’s been apart a...

Here is my fuel shut off with cover off and rod still attached… https://youtube.com/shorts/XP-T2A0wTzk?feature=share The HH that is currently on the truck, and shown in this video, is NOT the original. It is the one I picked up so I’d have something for comparison. But, it ended up being...

    Can’t get this to start…FIXED!!!

I have fuel EVERYWHERE, except exiting the HH injector ports. Every port, every valve, every line; even returning to the tank, there is fuel. Before, and after the HH, and on top at the 3/4” bolt. I have tried the original HH and also another from another truck, both resulting in the same...

    Can’t get this to start…FIXED!!!

Well, good news and bad news. Good News: The fuel system is 100% leak free. Bad News: Still didn’t start/stay running. Here’s what I did tonight….I turned on power. Bleed air from the secondaries bleed valve. Once I noticed a steady stream with no air bubbles for roughly 30secs I closed it. I...
