    True or Not True?

Whoever said that was full of it. They are the exact same part as a civilian truck. I have replaced beds on trucks still in service, the bed that comes comes in with the same GM part #'s as a civilian bed, I knwo because we did the research seeing if it was cheaper to buy on the civilian...

    Steelsoldiers.com survey

It is not an issue with your computer. It is an issue with the forum software as it is loaded on the server, and until the owners fix it that problem will persist.

m35a3s in Iraq or Afganistan ?

In 2005 I fell in on an equipment set in Afghanistan that had in it a 1968 M35A2 that had never been through rebuild or refit. It still had MERDC paint and a sprag transfer case.

    28MT replacement starter

The DB is Chinese. For $90, its decent. I have one, the solenoid stuck after about 3 months, after I had a new solenoid put on it it worked for 9 more until I took it off still working and replaced it with a Delco one. I still carry it as a spare.

    P-51 Mustang Down

To everyone saying don't fly these, think of the unintended consequence of this. Most of these surviving warbirds were junk a few decades ago and were rebuilt by people motivated to do so because they could fly them. People don't spend the $$$ to restore these birds from bits and pieces to...

    2011 vin info thread

WOUX is just the internal code, not really relevant here. USAARMC is the US Army Armor Center, the Armor School. Since it is a schoolhouse II can't say what the bumper numbers would be. You might contact the museum there and ask.

    2011 vin info thread

USAARMC is the US Army Armor Center at Ft Knox. It is the Armor School. As it is not a standard type unit, I can't say about bumper numbers. You might contact the museum there and see if they can help.

can we have a new forum called the "Pin Up Room"?

Dude. The classifieds have 3 year old ghost ads nobody does anything about. The forum software has a malicious code in it that redirects people to a malware site when they try to reach this site from a google search result. The TM's are gone. The powers that be have a lot bigger issues...

    Won a M101A3 yeah!

I have seen it happen a lot as well. Some GL guys are great, some don't care a bit. Plenty of damage comes from DRMO employees, plenty comes from Government Liquidation employees. If I had my way they would be held responabile for any and all damage.

Make sure your trailer is wide enough- the A3 axlkes are pretty wide.

picks of my 25,000 dollar humvee project

Yup. That engine looks like whatever was laying in the junkyard closest. Which is likely how this truck was built in the first place.

picks of my 25,000 dollar humvee project

Based on how the transmission sits, working a manual transmission in there is going to be very unwieldy to shift.

    Bumper was the usual spot.
