I could go on and on about teh technicla differences, but it doesn't matter. GL just lists whatever it was listed as when turned in, and 99% of the time the folks doing the turn in just use the same code every time regardless of actual condition.
So in short it ends up being a whole lot of...
I have a Ramsey 10k PTO winch sitting here in the shop, and a local guy doing a bob job has been in 4-5 times for measurements to see if it will work for doing this.
He can't seem to make up his mind if he wants PTO or electric.
Their starters are Chinese.
Unless you can find a new 24V Delco, having a skilled rebuilder take your starter and rebuild it will give you a far better product than the Chinese ones.
If your starter can't be rebuilt, you are still better off buying a used 24v one and having it rebuilt than a...
Not much for an ownership stake that far away, but if you get it up and going I would be interested in renting time on it or doing an exchange- say dropping off 150 gallons of oil for 100 gallons of cleaned stuff.
They were intended to be pulled by the M-37 when first made, and later the M-715, M880, M-1008 and last the HMMWV.
Small pintle hook is perfect.
The chassis under your trailer is the exact same as under an M101A1. For the axles, frame, tounge, wiring, etc use the M101A1 manual, you only need...
Is there a solution we can use that doesn't involve having to get you to go to bat for us every time? I can see this becoming a worse issue as time goes on and the state gets more and more anal about stuff.
Edited to add- I still think somebody from the License and Theft crowd is going to...
Motor oil will help lubricity, but is not the bets choice. 2 cycle engine oil is far better.
And 1 qt per tank is way, way too much if you just want lubricity.
So your the guy who outbid me:wink:
I previewed them when I was doing a pickup. Did you get the nice looking one or the one with the door off? The better one had nice fairly new 9.00x16 Superlugs on it, they looked good to go for a tow, just take a spare set of wheel bearings and check them...
If nothing else works, tell Government Liquidation that you will contact the DMV inspectors in NC and tell them that GL, a private company, is selling motor vehicles in NC without a dealers license and refusing to provide proper documentation.
The DMV inspectors live to bust unlicensed dealers...
Do you know how the Army tests for water in the oil in the AOAP lab?
They put a sample of the oil on a hot plate/pan
No bubbles forming mean it is dry.
Small bubbles mean a little moisture.
If it sizzles, more water.
If it spatters, a whole lot of water.
I have sold a lot of immersion heaters to guys using them to rmeove water from WMO and WVO. A lot safer than a truker fryer since the flame is more contained and a lot less likely to catch fire if you overfill.
A guy on Youtube has a series of videos doing it.
