I would go here:
The Diesel Page - for the 6.2L, 6.5L, and Duramax 6600 (6.6L) GM Chevrolet and GMC diesel engines.
Join and talk to the folks on the forums there. They are the 6.2/6.5 experts and have helped me with many issues, and there are several members who have done custom turbo setups.
A serach here showed a picture from 2007 that a member posted that showed two inret MICLIC rockets there.
I need two rockets, and want those if the price is within reason. Does someone either have the contact info for the yard they can send me, or would be willing to check on them for me?
That was going to be my question. I can't count the number of times I have pulled the wrecker or contcat truck up behind a 5-ton that dopped out of a convoy and had the driver say something like "the guage has said full the entire way".
I may soon. I am watching a few trucks we turned in to DRMO in the last few months to see when they come up for sale. From my hand reciept to a title in my name.
We have made every show there since 1995. The only one I missed was when I was in Afghanistan in 05, but we still had our vendor spot up and going for the company.
Best WWII show in the world in my opinion.
OK add:

I found a lot more, but these were the most common ones. If you need more numbers just let me know.
I found an NS, so some sort of US equipment used it at one time. However, all suppliers listed are in Europe so far. Perhaps one of the below numbers you can cross into a US number, I will keep looking.
NSN 2910-12-123-0997
Part #s and manufacturers:

I don't think there is enough room for the side mount turbo and its manifolds even with cutting and a body lift. Best bet is to just use a NA intake for now until you can get the center mount stuff.
You need the center mount turbo. That requires the intake maniford designed for it, and that requires the cylinder heads specific to that manifol.
So, from a center mount turbo setup, you need the Intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, turbo, and cylinder heads.
Center mount turbos were found...
They came about after Engineers had difficulty towing the MICLIC in the sand behind the M113's in Desert Storm. We never used them in wheeled Engineer units, our MICLICs where on regular M200A1 trailers, but the mech engineers had them.
Sorry to bringa topic back from the dead, but yes those are inert MICLIC rockets, and do you know if they are still there? I need a couple for a project.
I have sold many 28V gensets to construction companies and heavy equipment dealers who use them to jumpstart heavy equipment.
This one already being on a nice small sized trailer it is perfect for that use.
GEP has only made 6.5's, but you never know if somebody just swapped valve covers, especially at a rebuild facility where they all might get tossed in a pile then pulled off.
The factory GEP RTV on the valve covers is some sort of super strong miracle adhesive, I bent my valve covers trying to...
Indeed it does- but the stress on the gears, and the shafts, etc is not the same when it is doing all the work as it is when the lift pump is puhsing fuel to it.
Speed does not cause extra wear, and it does remain the same. The amount of load placed on the gears will affect the wear.
