I also bought the inverter, I have two spring seats in myM813A1 with two ammo cans mounted between the seats, I mounted the inverter in one of the ammo cans , and installed a 12 volt marine plug through the side of the can, now i can charge my phone , plug in my GPS , My 12 volt spotlight, CB ...

Did you pump the primer handle? Did you turn on the glow plug? are following the cold weather starting procedure? If it does have air in the system, there are a bunch of different threads on how to fix the problems, Did you change the fuel filter since you've owned the truck? Search will yield...

I would think even the utility model would have to be switched from 60hz to 50 hz.

My genset has a switch next to the electronic governor control to change from 60 hz to 50 hz. Let me know if you need pics, Mine is a precise power unit though and may be different than the utility model.

I own many trucks, So the military ones are historic only, My Insurance co. Is Condon & Skelly, No garage for the trucks either, I sometimes use the deuce for wood , or winching trees, But i live off the beaten path, and havent had any problems, But regardless, is a violation of my insurance...

I would give it a try on my M813A1 , if nobody else pipes up.
