do yo have the correct m809 heater brackets that go under the hood? I don't need the heater box, just the two frame brackets and the plate that the heater box sits on.
The weight of a CUCV should be listed in a transport guide., but you will probably have to go by the Gross vehicle weight (empty weight + payload) It should be listed on the inside of the door frame.
I found a number of 5200.
that's for a blazer
I think it was listed as a tow bar for a AAAIV??? OR something like that. It sure looks heavy enough and it probably can be made to fit anything.
Do you have a medium tow bar end to look at? the one that fits on the duece.
Nice truck
I was looking at the battery picture and it looks like you might have the glow plug cold start connected to a 24 volt source??? Check this maybe i am looking at it wrong. I know the glow plug doesn't live long at 24 volts. But in the south you might not need it.
They are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them. But if they are basing the price on scrap that is too high to pay for scrap a lb. They might be worth more then just scrap though.
If you will never tow a trailer with it I wouldn't grease it. YOu just end up getting yourself or something else full of grease.

Now if you are debating the price it would be about $3800 for a truck with a title. That to me does not seem like a lot to ask. Find me a truck for that price that I...
Make yourself an airhose that attaches to the emergency side of the glad hand. I found all the tires were low about 20-30 psi on every truck i have ever picked up. the onboard compressor will give you enough air to fill them up, it just takes a while. And don't skip those inner duals because...
Your best bet is to preview the truck and you will know if it has brakes, good batteries, etc.
A preview can make a big difference in buying a good truck or a problem child.
Make sure that you have temp plates and insurance.
I have done this before, not quite 200 miles, more like 100. Take a look over the great pick up list. It helps to have a chase vehicle incase something does go wrong. Fuel mileage figure about 6 mpg this way you won't run out. Some can get...
It also depends on what you want to do with your truck, if you will be doing commercial for hire work then the above post doesn't apply. If you are going to have it for yourself, maybe even tagged antique, you should be able to have it.
I can't speak for other states though.
