I believe it is a 241 tcase. You will need to modify the signal generator for the speedo (there is a kit for it) and you may have to move the tcase towards the drivers side just a tad to allow clearance to the fuel tank (should fit but may rub in off road conditions). I had a 770r4 with 241...
For military hmmwv's, there is at least 3 different halfshaft models: 7700, 10300 and 12100. All take different boot sizes due to the shaft diameter and the ends. Make sure you buy the correct boot kit. If you search for hmmwv halfshaft boot you find plenty of information on how to repair...
The diff output seal is amg specific. There is also a small filler seal that goes behind the shaft nut. Use a dab of Silicon to help seal and always use lock tight on nut.
For seal installation, crimp new seal in a bit to form a taper so it goes in straight.
use new Norlock washers and new half...
Ron,
I did not know I would create a mv monster a few years ago. I am really glad to see this all come together for you. Congratulations on amassing a great working collection. Now you need to add some HID light bars to them!

They are latched manually with pin on drivers side. Pull pin, open insert pin to keep open. Pull pin, close, insert pint. Good installs guys. I still have some...
Did you have fuel in the "bowl" of the ip? Did you hear a click inside the ip when you switch power on? Also, the check valve on the outlet of the ip can stick shut from gumming diesel. Hopefully the ip shop can tell you if really needed to be rebuilt and what the problem is/was. Regardless...
After you do what Steve said, try blowing air in to the return line from outlet of IP. Remove fuel cap and then blow air (low pressure) into the return line. If you don't hear air escaping out the tank, then you have a blockage in the return line. Replace the lines since it is easy and...
ccf460,
Late version tubs new from amg without any extra pieces will run around 18K plus shipping. That is tub only.
The rev frame rails for ecv that hummerguy mentions are around 5k per set, rails only, new from amg.
pm me for another hmmwv tub option if you want.

When I refuel and someone asks me about fuel mileage in my hmmwv, I say it gets over 20 mpg. The look on their confused faces is priceless. It takes the wind out of their sarcastic reply.
Regarding the headlight housing, the only difference between M series trucks and hmmwv's is the length of the stud on the rubber isolators. The hmmwv is approx 3/4" long and the H series trucks are approx 1/2". They can be changed though to fit your truck. New ones get be bought either thru...
I have had a 700R4 behind a 6.2 in a hmmwv slantback. It would go fast but it cannot handle the weight of the truck especially off roading. The 700R4 will fail sooner or later when used in this application. I done 4l80e conversions and Steve is correct, lots of work for just some speed gain.
I like how an A2 truck just appears. The b/w paint makes it look like a LESO truck.
For the turret setup it is best to refer the technical manual. For us to tell you what is missing based on the picture, is a wild guess.
Use grade 8 1/2-20 bolts with stover nuts and washers. The fender side wall requires a reinforcement plate held in by the 2 to lower bolts. Your angled aluminum piece is good though.
Did you use the thick spacer plate with d-ring attached? It comes with new-in-box IbisTek bumpers. It is about 1/4" thick which sets the bumper forward thus allowing the hood to have a clearer opening. Also, metal housing front marker/blinker lights are a hair taller than the plastic ones...
I am with Chuck on this, I have had many of them with no real issues.
