Are you sure the in-tank pump is not working? Start your engine and build up air. Then shut off the engine, but leave the battery switch on. Walk over to the tank, open the cap, and listen inside for the sound of the electric motor running.
Of course, the motor can run and the pump not have...
Many engines speed up a bit while they are warming (both gas and Diesel). The oil gets less viscous, valve clearances change slightly, transmission warms up, etc...
Also, don't forget that a Diesel engine can run and run away on its own engine oil if it starts to get into the cylinders in a...
I find with the M105 behind a deuce that if you carefully watch for the trailer lugnuts, you can catch the trailer just before it gets turned too far to recover. The lugnuts are the first part of the trailer you see as it starts to turn behind you. And slow, slow, slow also helps.

Hey 91W350, great photos as usual. Do you use any kind of hearing protection for your dogs while they are riding in the deuce? My dog would love to ride, but I am afraid to take her because of the noise. I have the quieter D turbo, but still...
Should have my M38A1 pried out of my dad's hands by then. It needs a good desert run. Got a bit of work to do on the M35A2 by 9 April, but I did just get a new set of Mud Terrains for the M1009.
