There are many others, like New Life Canvas (formerly New Life Resources) that may not be up and running under the new ownership yet.
It wasn't leaking or anything was it? From the info from running the tracking number, it was scanned when the driver picked it up at the shipping location but it was never scanned again. This could be because the system is not updating, because the package is lost in transit and never made it...
If that doesn't pan out check over at The M715 Zone at www.m715zone.com Plenty of us have done 12V converstions or complete drivetrain swaps so there should be a few starters available here and there.
RE: w350
Kenny is correct, there were a lot of civilian models purchased by the government for their use that are not strictly military models. some are in use by other government agencies and others are used by the military and are sometimes painted military colors but are just civilian...
I know of one truck in particular that ate them every few months or so. This was on a Plymouth Trailduster (1/2 ton) with a 4" lift and 33" tires. I'm pretty sure there is a difference in the size of the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton bearings and that may explain why most of the ones I have seen are...
Unit bearings are bad all the way around. The new Rams have similar issues, but the trend toward large backspacing on rims keeps them alive longer. A wide dished rim on a 1970s era Dodge unit bearing will eat it up pretty quick. Under normal use with stock or near stock size rims and tires...
RE: How about welder/genset on wheels?
Hmmm, I like it. Too bad I couldn't afford it. I wonder if it had a hard top originally. If I remember right the only pics of those I have seen had factory hard tops. Not much point in folding down the windshield on a truck with a tall utility body.
Well as far as the "What's this got to do with a Duece?" question, technically this has nothing to do with a Duece and the reasoning for the question is that this is posted in the "Duece Modification and Hot-Rodding" Forum so it is a valid point. Perhaps the "Conversations" or maybe the M715...
Also a much better idea would be to use a NP203/NP205 doubler and just run a PTO on either your trans or the 205. Running a winch off a transfer case output might seem like a good idea, but the ratios may be horribly unsuited for the winch and plus you have the problems of engaging low range in...
I would not use a NP200, they are very poor transfer cases and do not like any speeds over 45 MPH in most cases or long duration running in low range. Use a NP205 instead, much better design.
I don't know. An 800 series with winch, towbar, gun ring, convoy lights, cargo cover, and Michelin XL singles for $18k? Remember that Oshkosh Equipment sells these for around $20k+ with nothing other than the winch. At $15K I'd prbably think it was a great deal but I'd be tempted to do it for...
M715s are 04, so I'd agree that a 725 would be either 04 also or 05. Probably 04. These are the sort of questions I am looking to answer. I believe from reading assorted posts and other sources that there is a way to do the weight class based on the vehicle configuration and weight alone...
Yeah, I got it to load and all I saw was how to rate the bridge construction and not how to rate the truck for the bridge, lol. Interesting reading for sure, but not what I was looking for. Then I got to the very end and saw the chart with the different classes for the different vehicles...

Geez, you guys are going to have Tom's head swimming with ideas, lol. This is just the sort of thing to put him into overdrive fab mode, lmfao...
