Hey joe, whats the cost on that bad boy??? I'll be at the rally in a tent with the GF and her father as it stands now. Might be persuaded to upgrade. PM me if you could, thanks :-)
While i have a shopping list a mile long a lack of $$$ and the fact that i'm flying to the rally will trim that a bit. However, there are a few things i need. The most urgent of which is a hydraulic head for an m35. Need to replace the one on the A1 and really don't want to tear my spare pump...
Yeah BC, it would take a bit of fuel for sure....and yes....i do owe you 10 thus far. Quite a bit more if i start paying you back for all the assistance. Need to talk to you about hitting the parts truck. Call you soon about that. Tourdog, expect an incomming email ASAP.
Not the copper washers, i know what he is talking about as i need some too. They are rubber and sit at the base or the collar on top of the injector. They seal the top of the hole the injector sits in. Bright orange in color on any deuce i have seen.
Ok guys, some of you may remember i bought the m108 cranetruck/light wrecker/ whatever you wish to call it off of ASTFU a while back. Do to sched issues, a general lack of funds and now a bit of an underemployment situation actually getting it home has not occured. He has been absolutely...
Thanks for the explanation chris. I'm sure i wasn't the only guy that was away from the site for a few only to find FT missing when i returned. And thank you Wm for that interesting tidbit of info, that is indeed something to consider. They are called PRIVATE MESSAGES afterall, guess i'll just...
Just starting up here in the great (soon to be white) northeast. The hordes of leaf peepers haven't descended yet. Once things start to change a bit more i'll snap a few for ya. Never really pay that much attention, somehow its less pretty when ya gotta rake em....LOL
Why is it that i never find out where the cool planes are till after they have already departed??? Is there a mailing list i should be on or something??? If i'm correct those are the same planes that i missed seeing 2 weeks ago at the beverly airport....:-(
Thank you for the suggestion. The shutoff rod was indeed a bit stuck when i first began work on it. After working it back and forth a few doz times all seems well there. Could't hurt to pull it out though i supose. Although wouldn't i be getting no fuel at all to the injectors if it was truely...
Ok, its been a while. Finally put in some real time on the A1 this last week. Pulled an injector or 2 and neither fired when cranking. So i figured what the hell and tossed in a spare set of injectors i had ( NOS). Replaced the older than dirt feul return lines as well for easy flow monitoring...
Wasn't this done about a year ago???? Think they used a BIG komatsu dozer from a local quarry to pull it out. Looked really nice if i remember correctly.
