Yup, cheaper and easier to drop in a cummins if you really need the power. But ya know, as you don't actually own one yet i suggest leaving it be a while once you do get one. The multi does surprisingly well in its intended role.
Air pressure.....just a wee bit will force fuel up the hose and out the tank, plenty well enough to bleed the filter just as if you had an intank working. Just be sure its only a little bit or pressure.
I vote the tranny trick, worked like a charm moving the M35A1. Had to roll it off JT's trailer and i couldn't believe how fast it stopped when i let out the clutch.
WOW, how odd is this. Never seen this thread before. Though we never discussed it, i seem to have gone the exact same route that builder77 went when the truck was his !!!!!! Flightcom aviation intercom (9 volt bat powered) and an aviation headset. Its really comfy and i can plug my MP3 into it...
You mean like offroad??? It would take more pressure to remove the magnet than i would ever want to place on my oil pan anyway. To be perfectly honest i wouldn't be surprised if a couple of the ones i have would support my weight. A good magnet on something like the drain plug shouldn't depart...
Waaay overkill, but also the coolest jetski setup you could hope to concoct. sure you might need to back in a bit to launch but its not like you don't have some leeway if you are towing with a deuce.
Just another thought. My truck came with a couple magnets that have been in use holding the lic plate on the tailgate. While only 1/4 or so thick they have tremendus power. You need a pair of vicegrips to have a hope of moving them, regular non locking pliers won't work. I wouldn't want a finger...
