    When heavy wet snow falls onto windshield from a tree or whatever you are going to have to remove it manually. Wipers are not designed to remove a large accumulation of compacted snow at once.

    In my area dyed farm diesel is the same ultra low sulphur diesel with just the dye added. I can not buy high sulphur diesel.

    Everything will last longer if you run at night in this heat wave! Especially you, the tires, engine and coolant, belts, hoses, alternator, really just about everything! An added bonus is truck will run better on night air and get better fuel mileage! Good luck from everyone!

    Cranking issue, '86 M1008, previously 12V converted

    You either have a broken bolt or a missing bolt. 2 bolts hold starter to block in addition to the front bracket. It makes no difference if original or aftermarket starter.

    That should work fine. I hook my 12 volt electric over hydraulic pump to the front battery and it gets a lot of use.
