    Possibly loosing a rectifier diode.

Advice needed - new guy with MEP004A

impacts on gear pullers (well gear pullers in general) have their own hazard. I had a coworker loose an eye to one using an impact. Next time try this, Load the gear puller until tight, apply heat to the item being pulled and tap with a hammer. when the gear puller loosens tighten and...

MEP 805B Voltage out of synch

Do you have a load applied? Check your neutral, ground, and the bond in-between. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

    MEP003A Serves Again

Glad to hear. My 004 has not seen alot of use, but when its needed its well worth the investment Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

MEP-002A will not crank...Need some help!

Glad to hear, my next suggestion would have been to check voltage on start attempts or preheat. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

MEP-003A Generator grinding the starter motor while running

There is a diode that goes bad that can cause that. There is a correction for it, ill see if i can find it. In the mean time see if the starter solenoid is getting voltage when not commanded Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

MEP-002A will not crank...Need some help!

Heres where id start, do you have panel lights? When you turn the start switch to preheat do you hear a click? In run do you have fuel pumps? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

    Generator questions! MEP-803/804

You can use 2 legs (it will be 208 volt so check your appliances, most are useable at 208) I would advise getting some kind of load (work light, heater etc) on l2.

Yes. But in a synchronization application buss can be grid or other live source. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

Gen connection is what the generator is connected to for sync input Buss connection is the field buss sync reference Rotation is the rotation direction These settings are all for 3 phase paralleling(basically a syncroscope), an option you wont be using. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

    803A on 3 phase

Usually not. Running heaters is a bit less efficient due to a lower voltage, motors will pull a bit more current (not much) but 98% of the time they will be happy. In the almost 30 years I have been doing electrical, I can count on one hand the times equipment has not been happy on 208 when...

    803A on 3 phase

    Deltas do have neutrals.

    803A on 3 phase

Short answer Wye unless there is some weird buck boost transformer 208 is a wye system and 240 is a delta system (except the high leg, thats 208 to ground). Most devices will run 208 or 240 just fine, be sure to check the nameplate and or manufacturers instructions to confirm. The...

In your application set and forget. The reason these sets have a voltage regulator out and easy is for paralleling. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
