I ran #6 wire 115' run. Run single phase 120/240 . Only running Necessary equipment for storm condition, rated nameplate of generator. Also disconnecting the bar ground in generator and running ground of house connection.

Load testing usually consist of a start around 25% for half hour 50% for another 30 minutes , 75% for an hour, finish off at a 100% for maybe a 1/2 hour, All in all 4 hours is a good point for a whole test, imo, reading all status during the test, to confirm everything is Within parameters of...

If it were my truck and I wanted to diagnose the glow plug system. I would pull all 8 glow plugs and bench test them. You could have 1 or more that are not glowing and they can return a false signal to the glow plug controller to protect...
