I was at TNJ Murray's picking up some odds and ends today and spoke to John. He told me he currently has a contract for 200 trucks with some country in Africa. If I understood him correctly, he bought all, or nearly all of the M109's at Ft. Meade this week.

I was told several weeks ago by a MV rebuilder that there was an contract out for 1500 deuces and to expect prices to go up. Looks like he was right. No, I didn't think to ask who needed 1500 deuces.

I've wondered the same thing. A locking fuel cap and " I'm sorry sir, I only carry the key when I get fuel." What could they do ?

As far as backhoe specific parts, I'd say leaking cylinders, worn pivot pins and a weak pump would be the areas of concern. Rebuilding cylinders isn't cheap and you might be surprised how quick those hardened steel pins and bushing add up. :shock: Also, check for parts availability. It...
