Wow, Really sorry to hear about your problems with Alpha. His trucks always look great on the web, and sound good in his descriptions. I've had my eye on the shelter carrier, but now would be very hesitant, especially for his prices.

As Bjorn pointed out, the 524 has a built in speaker. His diagram should answer most of your questions regarding installation. You can add a speaker to the crewmembers box if you don't have headsets (or don't want to wear them all the time) or just want to use a mike instead of the CVC or...

Saturn doubled their price on the antenna mount kit. That was a bit of a shock when I went to purchase another kit. Oh well, da prices just keep going up.

I bought one awhile ago (I think from Mike Murphy) just haven't had time to figure a way to install an outlet for 24V. I was thinking of putting it in the ash tray / cigarette lighter area and wiring it to the 24 volt supply under the hood. Anyone tried something like this yet?

RE: Gun Rack for M1009 While surfing for some other items I ran across this at Saturn Surplus: http://saturnsurplus.com/miscpage/gun.htm IMO their price is a tad high at $26.50. I've always been pleased with the products and service when I order from them.
