    100% used motor oil fuel.

I had some cold starting troubles when running too much oil. WMO is heavy fuel oil. It's used in ships and other large slow engines. Heavy fuel oil is getting very expensive. And oil recylers are selling it for fuel. I'd rather burn it in my engine than give away for free to someone else for fuel.

    Info on Diesel Fuels

I think Jwaller is right. Most of us run what ever we can find instead of diesel. WMO has been a wallet saver for me. I've burned a few thousand gallons already with no problems. And at these prices probally saved close to 7K$ in fuel cost. I can get two trucks for that price. There is lube...

I know this post is old but with oil breaking $140 today we might need to figure ways to increase milage. I just finished some turbo and intake mods trying to increase air flow, not boost. I'll post milage results soon. What things have yall done to increase milage. And what results did you get...

    M62A2, what engine?

If the LDS ended up with a "C" turbo that would seriously bring it's power output down. It should have the wastegated turbo on it. Witch will wistle just as well. But move alot more air.

    50/50 Mix for Multi

I keep fuel extra fuel filters in the glove compartment. I've had the primary plug far from home. I've noticed the same cold starting issue. If i'm running too much WMO the engine will take a while to start when cold. But once it's running it runs great. I'm planning on pulling the injectors to...

I'll chime in at $100. Although they are starting to get harder to come by. Seems everybody likes the "C" turbo wistle.

What Fuels Are Being Used in Multi- Fuel Engines?

The problem with gas is there is alot less BTU's per gallon. You milage will suffer alot. Although you will be paying less for gas. You won't go as far on it. Not to mention the loss of lube for the injector pump. You can burn gas. But it's a emergency fuel. Look at the alt fuels section. You...

    5 ton mulit wiring diagram

I've ran into the same problem restoring my M52A2. The wiring harnesses are not the same. I replaced the one on my M35 and have a diagram for that. I'm lucky there is another multi 5ton at the museum that i'm using to trace wires.

    WMO ?

More than 30% might give you starting problems when the engine is cold. Filter it as best as you can. And keep extra fuel filters under the seat. When they clog they never do it close to home.

    Mineral Oil in a Multifuel?

Transformer oil will work. I've tried it myself. But as always mix it with diesel. I can see using it to help reduce fuel costs. But not as the primary fuel. I've had problems starting a cold engine when i mixed too much oil on the fuel. But after it's warm it runs fine.

    Turbo Swap

The D will provide more CFM. But not much more PSI. It has a larger compressor wheel and will provide more airflow at much lower turbine RPM. But if you need more power. Increrase the fuel rate. You won't believe it's the same truck.
