Can't help on the NAPA cross reference. Have had good service from
Erik's Military and Industrial Surplus - Military Vehicle Parts, Industrial and Military Surplus Electronics
and prices are good. I installed the boots without zippers but some have had trouble with them not lasting long.
If you are talking seals only and not the gaskets and cork wedges that would be a little pricey. As for seals you need 6 inner seals and 4 outer seals. they run from $8 to $20 each from what I see.
Really don't have a clue at this point. They are pretty simple in design and not real high tech. It's simple enough to pull the pump and check the screen on the bottom.
Well if you have fuel coming from the bleeder with only the master on then it must be working. All the deuces I have been around you could hear the pump running sitting in the cab. Go figure. Maybe you have a special stealth pump.
Easy way to check is open the bleeder on top of the secondary/final filter and turn the master switch on. If the pump is working you will get a small scale version of old faithful coming out the bleeder. I would have to say if you can't hear it, it's not running. The truck will run on the...

I used a 15 gal. round wash tub and 5 gallons of mineral spirits for cleaning. Was easy to set the hole hub / drum assembly in and scrub the crud off. 2cents
Been there done that. Had the exact same thing happen. I used the 271 heavy duty thread locker. Don't plan on having to take it apart and don't think I would be lucky enough for it to stay wedged between the frame and inner fender again.
Nice job. Thanks for the heads up. Of all the things I pay special attention to that is one item that never really crossed my mind.
jasonjc, I just got a nice OTC tool.
Welcome to the light. Congratulations on the deuce. [thumbzup] That item is a solorgizer (sp?). It is to keep the batteries charged. Because the vehicles could sit for extended periods of time without use they started to install these to help keep the batteries charged. Get the TM's and start...
Besides what combst32 mentioned I would think there is a high probability that dirt and sand kicked up from the road would migrate into the knuckle area. Over time I could see it causing concerns with the thrust washer and seal carrier surface and the bushing inside the spindle that supports the...
