I voted camo. Just for something different, if I could paint, I would do one of the 4 color patterns. I know it's a older pattern and not correct for the era vehicle but you don't see it often.

I'm kind of partial to the "Winter US & Europe-Verdant"...
As long as I can remember they have been predicting that at some point California is suppose to break off and head west out in the Pacific ocean. Anyway we can help this along...
Agreed. You would need to tie it to the frame. I have wondered about this after seeing some pic's of people with rather large and heavy items including vehicles in the bed. That original wood rack and canvas cab cover doesn't offer much protection if something goes wrong.
Nice trailer. Good to hear the recovery was smooth.
I might have had to argue with the GL guy, of course you can't win, but. If there is a ton of trash in the trailer or truck you go to pickup it's yours and you have to take it with you.
Welcome to the site Ryden. Lots of good folks around here. I always thought Volvo made some interesting Mv's. A nice Volvo C304 or TP21 would look real nice in my driveway to keep my deuce company. :-D
First off welcome to the site. Thanks for the pic's. I loved when the Blue Angles use to fly the smokies. You could hear them coming a hour before they got there. :-D
I didn't have to replace mine during the rebuild last summer so not sure how hard they would be to remove. Installation would be easy because they are right at the inside end of the spindle. One caution would be you might need to have a reamer to size the bushing once it is installed. You might...
Just a thought but does the bushing (#37) in the spindle show much wear. The front axle shaft relies on this to keep the shaft rotating in a circular motion around the center plain of the shaft and not a orbital motion which will cause added wear and stress on the inner seal. 2cents
Welcome to the addiction. Good luck on the hunt. The TM's for the deuce can be found on a fellow members site. They will give you some insight on the care and feeding of a deuce.

I would tend to agree but I can't seem to find any manufactured anywhere else. I have 8 months on mine (non zipper Newstar) but only about 200 ~ 250 miles. I would love to find a quality USA made boot.
