    Dash Light Bulbs

True story with Al Jones' comment. I also completely destroyed a socket assembly trying to remove the melted lens, all because of the wrong lamp. Always replace with the correct lamp.

    Deuce heater box install

Don't feel dumb, I'm glad to help, these heater questions get asked alot. I thought about mounting my core inside, but it doesn't bother me too much on the fender....yet. Good catch Ty, I didn't see the breaker in the first photo. A splitter and a jumper and he'll be uptown electrically. Erik's...

    Deuce heater box install

The correct way would be to install another circuit breaker next to the one already on the firewall. I just jumped input power from one breaker to another. I used all Mil-Spec wire and connectors for the "done in the Motorpool" look.

Colorado Springs - 2012 Vets Day Parade

That's Frank's M109. I think he finally got all the GL grease pen marks off of it. And as they say in the Mid-West, "A good time was had by all".

    12v headlights on 24v system - wiring

I just saw a pair on that popular online auction site go for $82, is that a decent price for those "cool" yellow headlights?

    Out of Fuel

He's got Colorado listed for a location, but no area/city. I don't think he's anybody I know, or a MVCC Member.

M818 toolbox on a bobbed deuce

I would use that excess area to put your spare tire rack and 800 series tool box, that would look clean. Saves the hassell of cutting the bed down more.

    Why the 120/240 split issue?

The NEC changed that quite a few code cycles ago. Now, everything must be grounded at one single point, ie: phones, cable, satellite and electrical system. The reason for one grounding point is you don't want a ground fault to go to the next available ground with the least resistance. For...

newbe with ??? on buying a Deuce

I had no problem with the link, it took me right to the Deuce WIKI. You might want to reconsider intentionally mis-spelling words, and not capitalizing. The Mods frown on someone not trying to do their best while posting. It just makes it easier for everyone to read. Just my 2cents.

    M35A3 with electrical draw

Maybe that battery is suspect. If you had an un-welcome current draw, seems to me both batteries would be affected. Maybe time to invest in a couple of batteries, don't just replace one. As rmgill said a disconnect is always a good idea.
