My M931a2 has a ctis unit that shows no lights when plugged in, however, as I plug and unplug connector, the lights activate. It's almost like it will stay connected at the half way point, but will not.
I plugged this controller in myM23a2, and same thing. My controler from my M923a2 works...
I had some brake issues with mine, and in the process of fixing, test drove and then "stood" on the brakes of a non abs truck and it just stops (nothing locks). I assume my truck is no different than anyone else's.
To add to the cheaper diesel comment....you can buy dyed diesel, which is sold for off-road use only (farmers are the typical users). In Missouri, last time I bought it ( when diesel was $3 / gallon), I believe it was about $.25 cheaper. It is cheaper due to not having all taxes applied to it...
Same here....a lot of great people who willingly share their knowledge and experiences. That is not the norm in our culture these days.
Happy new year!
Well....the differentials were not drained, but everything else dry. The transmission filter removed, drain plug out of radiator missing, engine oil filter in place but crankcase drained, and fuel filter and housing gone. Batteries also removed.
got everthing replaced and she runs good with...
Was working on a Recent M923 acquisition, and crank case, power steering, coolant reservoir and fuel tank were all drained.
the tranny registered (barely) on dip-stick.
two questions,
1. Why was this typically done? Truck was redone in 2007....but it appears it was subsequently drained...
Has anyone tried a locking fuel cap like shown in the following link?
Had one disappear on me and want something a bit more challenging to take.

I have seen the posts on the behr (and how happy folks have been happy with it), but it is nice to have good options.
The stuff on @-bay looks faded in his paint photo.
I've removed and retorqued lug nuts on LMTV multiple times......cheater bar required!
Kenet3261......does that tool retorque as well? I assume it is geared?
Thanks for the PM's with contacts, I truly appreciate it.
It is nice to get this help from the community in an area that has been extremely disappointing.
