Very nice detail work. I wanted to do a frame off on the 1028 I bought but shes is a little to far gone for that. I'v been building points cars for many years and know what it takes to do that kind of work. Only bad thing is when your done it will be to nice to drive. BG

I did the lt side floor, rocker and cab corner yesterday. Next weekend I'll hang the fender and finish up the Lt side. Then I get to start all over again on the rt. BG

Has anybody put a 4L80 trans in there 1028. I was told it bolts right to the tranfer case. If that so it seems to me to be a great way to get overdrive.

I had a M543 with a Mack in it back in the early 90's. I think they where 671 Mack engines no turbo. I had three wreckers at that time. One Mack one Mutifuel and one old gas job. The Mack was by far the best of the bunch. Brian G.

I have one that was rebuilt 11/11. Everything works as it should, all new matching tires, even the CTIS works. Truck drives great. I never looked for a rebuild tag on the eng. If I wanted another one I would look for the most recent rebuild I could find again. This ones a keeper.
