Doesn't seem too bad if its as nice as it looks. I only paid $1770 for mine last spring, but: it had a cracked w/s, bent d/s, cracked extension housing, bad tires, no gas tank, ratted dash wiring, wisconsin engine was missing carb and starter, etc. So 4K for a complete one doesn't seem too bad.

Ok, My M1028a1 was "converted" 07/92 into a M1028a1 TM01 Shelter Carrier at "TEAD". The NSN number originally was 2320-01-133-5368 (M1031 C & C), the modified truck then had a new NSN, 2320-01-158-0820. The glove box option for the NP205 is: 7MF4. Good Luck in your search.

RE: Re: RE: VIN Help My M1028a1 is sort of an M1031, it has the NP205, the sticker in the glove box lists it as a cab and chassis. The door has M1028. It was (when I bought the truck) a contact service unit. I put a pickup bed on it from a M1008 parts truck.
