It is a sad day when "Hitler's Buzzsaws" are mounted on American hardware. What a disgrace. Those very guns may have mowed down the men who drove early versions of the truck you have them mounted on today.
It is a delicate balance between just enough and too much.... Too much lift and if you over load the truck the bed will fold when you go to dump it. Better to have not enough and have to shovel some off by hand than to have too much and damage the truck by exceeding the capacity of the body.
I am also thinking that because it is hard to find a place to eat that has enough parking for multiple military vehicles that we could do a stop at a location like Bluelick Battle Field and have a pot luck type lunch.... That doesn't mean we all bring MREs to pass around:lol:
I am considering plotting out a route and putting together a convoy to drive a hybrid version of the Bluegrass Driving Tour and the Bourbon trail. (trail not to be confused with off road, this will be all two lane paved roads) I was looking at doing one or the other, but the routes are so long...

Hey it doesn't look like the barrel is plugged? Is the breach in tack?
I would love to have the opportunity to just sit in that thing and pretend to drive it:beer:
I got mine put on Yesterday and for anybody getting ready to install one; Beg barrow or steal a magnetic drill press... makes it go a whole lot easier.
It is warm here today so I popped the front windows open and took my son to the park in the deuce. He love the "big truck' so I take every opportunity to take him for a ride in it. One of Our parks has an m60a3 tank and I thought it would be neat to have a picture of the truck with the tank. It...
I don't think it is a bad idea, but it is not realistic. From what we have been able to tell about the ticket for being over weight it was a case of the LEO having bad information and the ticket was not warranted. Having information from this forum would not have changed that circumstance at...
