TOWING A M35A3 from TN to MD. CDL NEEDED?

I am aware of that, but it also means it got towed in and not driven; which means it could have anything wrong with it. I don't mind taking a risk that a gear is out of an A2, I can limp that home. If that Allison is bad there is no limping home. Then he has the cost of the flight, plus has to...

TOWING A M35A3 from TN to MD. CDL NEEDED?

It was listed as " Did not start" Flying in would be a big risk if it has more problems than dead batteries. I was bidding on it, but wasn't willing to take a chance on it at the price it went at and I am 400 miles closer than the OP.

    ****, out bid Again

Um it isn't a active duty unit...it is an internet open forum (forum = a meeting place to discus common interests) ... We are the life blood of the forum...without the members it would not exist. We are not the Admins or Moderators subordinates. I understand perfectly what goes into maintaining...

    ****, out bid Again

How often do we see somebody say "use the forum search, it's been covered already" in a thread? Every day multiple time indicating that most do not read old threads. I think sometimes people just need to relax and not sweat the little things. The picture will be gone in a few days...Who cares...

    Stopped by the NCSHP

As an ex-truck driver I have to disagree. look at some RVs that are 15-20 years old and how many miles are on them 35-50 k on most? Look at the 100s of thousands of trucks on the road and how many miles are on ones that is 4-5 years old 500 -700 K miles. It is a huge difference in risk. Plus...

    Deuce surge tanks

Mine was puking, I drained the coolant down so it is just barely visible in the fill neck. Problem solved. I would be interested to know what those tanks came off of and why they have so many inlet/outlets? I am not a fabricator so they would not be very useful to me; I have no way to install it.

    ****, out bid Again

Contrary to popular opinion most of us don't ever go back and read old post...Why do that when there is a steady supply of new posts to read[thumbzup] A post like this is not informational so it really doesn't matter if it just dies.

TOWING A M35A3 from TN to MD. CDL NEEDED?

No he isn't... The combo is with a trailer in excess of 10 K, it doesn't matter what he is pulling it with. Will you make it without a ticket? Maybe. Is your insurance going to drop you for being over the legal limit if you are in an accident? Probably. It is a risk regardless of whether you...

    Stopped by the NCSHP

It all comes down to money. The RV Industry has the money to lobby so that they can sell RVs to anybody and tell them that their are no restrictions. I am interested to hear how this turns out. I think you could get the ticket knocked down some at least.

If you get the wrong officer probably. Technically they are supposed to respect the laws of the state you are registered in, but they know that if you are far from home you are not going to come back to appear in court...soooo...

Pulled this off of NCDMV web site: North Carolina will issue two types of 2010 decals: 1. North Carolina Highway Fuel Use Tax Decals 2. International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) Decals Decals are required for “Qualified Motor Vehicles.” “Qualified Motor Vehicle” means a motor vehicle used...

    Frankfort recovery today

They are moving them to Redstone to sell. I have been back and forth on the phone with them trying to convince them that moving them was a dumb idea, but they say it is out of their hands. The KYNG said "get them out of here" and Redstone is their central vehicle sale location so that is where...

    deuce with no title

It is state specific... here in KY if it doesn't have a title when you get it you can't get one. Some states like Vt and NH don't even care if the vehicle is titled or not... If it is over 15 years old they will register it with just a bill of sale.

We should start a forum fire dept and get free trucks... every forum should have a fire dept:beer:

    ****, out bid Again

Just think of it this way...you are not the one paying 3272.50 after fees for a truck of unknown running condition :D Also for some reason stuff sold at Ft Meade always brings top dollar. Look at the dueces that have sold there wo/w in the last few months all bringing over 3K when almost...

I haven't even seen the cabs come up for auction in a while... Use to see just the cabs pretty frequently on GL.

Fined for running WMO (not me)

We got ours for the same price as the regular gas powered civic... we were in the market anyway and it didn't cost us any extra. So far it has saved us almost 12 grand in gas over the car we traded in.

    HEMTT Availablity

I don't think they will ever get surplused out. Osh-kosh has turned a large part of their business into "glider kits" even in the civilian market. Most concrete mixers on the road today are 40 plus years old because osh-kosh rebuilds them all... as the technology updates they make the updates to...
