Atomic Annie and Two Prime Movers

The numbers are hard to imagine which makes this topic real interesting. To put it into a perspective I can understand better, would that be equal to lifting 4,859 deuces?

Atomic Annie and Two Prime Movers

Atomic Cannon Nuke Truck A fellow Steel Soldier member invited me to the desert to go shooting. I knew I'd passed the initiation test when I made it out with these pictures. As per the other thread this gear sits near the Yuma Prooving Grounds and I'll add the info signs that go with them.

    Night photo of my truck

MV Night Photos Can you give us some info on which camera you use and a little detail on setting/exposure times. Really like to learn more about this. That's a beautiful shot and I'm learning to capture MV's in pictures but at night they usually turn out like this.

Who has a lifted m1010 on here?

M1010 lift The Previous Owner lifted this 1010, 4" front 3" rear and had 33" mud terrains on it when it came home. I found a special on some 35" then dropped it back on the originals for that parade look. There are other CUCV's with bigger rubber so anything is possible. High CG will produce...

The Chieftain Arrives! Or the travails of moving armor...

That is just a great, intense yet very calm recovery. Tanks for sharing that and getting us a tank. Could I interest you in bringing it up to Canada for a weekend?

All that plumbing under the hood

Good eye spotting that hairline. Another thing to add to the list during maintenance checks. Should be lots of those pans around but maybe not if the trucks were put away wet. If you can't find one locally and decide on a swap I can ship you one. Gives me some incentive to mothball the parts...

    just another newby saying hello

You drove from Kelowna to Vancouver Island? In a Deuce? On the ferry?.....and how did I miss that trip? ........ If you found repair.....ability for a Deuce in Kelowna you're already a step ahead and very lucky so here's to hoping it continues. We have some BC contacts that may chime in...

    My first heavy truck xm215

Jeep truck MV The boys that don't check the Early Deuce Forum are going to be real sad they missed this. You're hiding things and not telling us what you're doing so you may need to get that girl in "members rides" or "MV spotted". Tell me what you know about it? Did it serve? I have access to...

    Patracy's "SEMTT"

Great ride. Twenty years ago we wouldn't have been able to come along so real glad you waited til now so we could. Huge build, kinda like trying to make a DUKW out of a G749. Very inspirational, thanks.

Museum joining the ranks of Steel Soldiers

Welcome to Steel Soldiers neighbour. You have my attention Jeremy. First, I need to thank you for keeping the past and secondly for triggering my memory. I thought I saw "Ontario Regiment" on some family documents and your post made me dig back through some files. I don't have my head around...

All that plumbing under the hood

Well we appreciate you testing different size chunks in your eyes. The oily sheen of the guts in a hydromatic just make me grin. Thanks for the pics.

All that plumbing under the hood

G-749 Instructions I started printing pdf's and building a shop book but it's just easier having the manuals. The selection in the photos mostly came from http://www.portrayal.com/ Search terms like "G-749 manuals" "M135 TM" "M211 TM" "M220 parts" "M135 parts" will net you different surprises...

All that plumbing under the hood

Early Deuce Transmission Fluid Flavor ..........If your transmission has 1st, 2nd & reverse but will not shift into 3rd or acts like it is shifting into neutral, the 3-4 clutch pack is toast.............. Sturmy got me.....Must be a short-cut typo, similar to using "prolly" for "probably"...

    1941 K18-C GMC Recovered today

K18 gmc Spotted this one in Dawson Creek on the way to Alaska in 2012. The stickers on it give it away. I still have some defrost deflectors for an Early Deuce sitting here PB so if you drive that up here so I can see it, I'll give them to you.....or PM me an address and I can send them. You...

    My Resto Mod deuce build

Like the Deuce, the seats and real interested in seeing how the restraints mount. The days of riding unrestrained in a deuce are over. Nice to see it done better.
