Howdy neighbor! The m447c will be too long for the frame with lots of over hang, the M927/M928/M934/M935 all have the extra long frame which you would need. It's easier and cheaper to just buy a van from surplus than starting from scratch. If you're dedicated to the M923a2 then look for an M109...
Here's my tail lights. Clearly they're the older style with 3 total cut outs, one for the blackout light on the right. The ones below are 12v added by the military as this thing was only recently surplussed. I'd have more photos posted but the SS site uploader is being problematic. I hope this...
Picked up my M270A1 today and passed Tornadogt in route with his m915 after he got his dry van trailer. I took a stroll around the yard and saw some black vultures keeping a sharp eye on me as well as an omen for the many M920s there destined to be torched. Still kind of neat I think.
Make sure the fuel cutoff solenoid is fully retracting. Try zip tying it back or even removing it then give it a crank. If it's losing prime then try pressure bleeding the system and look for wet spots. More than half the A2s I've had in my hands had rotten rubber lines.
I'm looking into it, it overlaps on a possible trip that has yet to be confirmed. This is of course assumes my freakin' EUC clears for the 8x8 before then. :driver:
EUC submitted on: 10/21/15
EUC marked filled on: 10/23/15
Called: 11/23ish - Status not updated, EUC not sent to BC due to month backlog, told to check next week
Last Updated: 12/4/15 - Sent to TSC
Called: 12/4/15 - confirmed EUC sent to BC, nothing else needed
Called: 1/5/16 - EUC still pending...
It is most certainly flat spots on Riley trucks. The vehicles on the lot are a mix of mid 2000s turn-in, refits, and unissued trucks that haven't been moved since parked. I had an M923A2 that was a FMS freeze, just overhauled in 09 too, and it galloped like a horse on the freeway due to flat...
395s may not fit an m275 without removing the mud guards and with less weight in the rear the ride may be quite bumpy. Go with G177s like Jeep said and you won't be disappointed. I just sold a set to a local SS member and they look great...
I've got a M923 fresh from overhaul that is missing on 2 cylinders, confirmed with a temp gun. I thought I got lucky when I got a box of fuel injectors for a good price through GL but it appears I've hit a snag. NT855 vs NTC855. The heads of the injectors are different though everything else...
