    Other Options

Zout, you might check the Georgia Rally thread and see if some folks will be going to the rally from LA, and be willing to bring it. Just a thought.

    Request- pictures of stenciled marks

The under hood pic isn't very good, but here is my contribution. The under hood and large fuel tank letters are 1 inch, the "PRESSURE OPEN SLOWLY" letters are 1/2 inch.

Sooooo, who was driving the tank? :-?

    Slave Cable with a Twist

What kind of clamps did you use? When I build a heavy set of jumper cables, I use welding clamps. They are usually a lot heavier than normal jumper cable parts.

The First Modification To Your Deuce

My first mod was changing the passenger bench to a springer. The second was to replace the slats in the cargo racks/troop seats, but I guess that is maintenance, not a mod. My next mod will be the remote brake fluid reservoir. I would like to check the level with a glance during pre-trips...

Room for sleepers behind 915 series trucks?

How does moving the 5th wheel back effect load distribution? Or does it?

Question about Picking up my trailers

If you mean documentation on the trailer you will be pulling to load the MV trailers on, you might. KY does have registration on trailers, it has just not been enforced in the past. They are starting to do so, in small baby steps. You might call the security office at Campbell and ask, just to...

OK, who scored the M1031 FULL of tools in OK??

And by the time the EUC clears, and it gets loaded out, they will be lucky if it still has the lug nuts on it. If I had won it, I would wrap chains around it and lowjack all the big stuff.

    Daughter recovering M109 Van.... Help?

Glad things are going well. Did she wave as she went by me? I didn't see her wave or hear her honk the horn or anything. :-( Seriously though, If you posted this at 21:53, she was about ready to stop for the night, or if she drove through the night she should be home by now. How is it going?

    bobbed a deuce, original bed

So is the rear axle in the location of the original front axle? (front of the tandem) In other words, were you able to use the stock drive shaft?

    Lets See Your 5-Ton!

Here is ours from a few years ago, then again from this winter when the bed was painted. We should have time to paint the cab this winter, so it will be all matched up. XM817 Wo/W

    M35A2 un-insurable

Where you live also has a lot to do with costs. I live in a rural area of Eastern KY where 4x4 trucks are frequently stolen. They are more expensive to insure here than say, Lexington KY. Lexington is only 40 miles away, but trucks and some cars are cheaper to insure if you live there. Houses...

I'd be impressed if I just saw one.

    Kentucky Vietnam Vet Parade

I wouldn't mind hitting this event. It all depends on me getting the head gaskets replaced. The oil leak is getting unmanageable. If I can run down the head bolt wrench and a top end gasket set by then, I'm in. I may even see if some of the local Boy Scouts down there would like to ride in the...

    How to paint camo?

Someone on here (Sorry, I can't remember who) used the guide from the TM by making a copy of it, then coloring it in with colored pens or pencils or something. Sounded like a good idea to me.
