That's it! I didn't figure it would be an Air Force trailer being as fort Polk is not Air Force. So what are they worth roundabout? Keep in mind the one I found has no tires or wheels.
This is not it. It is only maybe a couple feet longer than an M105 and just about as wide. The deck is diamond plate material and looks like it has four sections, one large portion on each end and two smaller sections in the center that look as if they could lift out like a dining room table leaf.
Not yet. I'm not ready yet. Its not that I can't figure out how to post them, they just post upside down unless I email them to myself, open them on my laptop, download them into their own file, flip them over, then post them on here from the laptop.
Believe me man... If I could take pics with this P.O.S IPhone and just post them here without a bunch of pain in the neck I would have all kinds of pictures posted up all the time.
Was looking in some scrap piles at some local shops today and stumbled across a flat top four wheel trailer with rows and rows of tiedown points that fold away into the floor. The two front wheels are steer tires that are steered by the pintle hitch. I noticed that it is a five lug bolt pattern...
Yeah. Do it with the power switches on and that screw on the solenoid turned all the way in. If you end up getting fuel from the line by the injector pump then you know that your problem is that you are sucking air somewhere and that should make the problem evident one way or another. If you...
Do you have the large filter canister in the wheel well behind the driver side steer tire? If so, get a 1/2" to 1/2" male to male brass fitting and bypass it, then try again. Also pull the fuel line off directly before it enters the injection pump and put some air pressure to the fuel tank. Be...
You can use coke can trimmings to wrap the stub shaft as shimming material. I know it's kind of a booger fix bit it will work and be more or less permanent depending on the care and time you take to do it.
Oh I'm also looking for the standoff bracket that bolts onto the bed of the deuce to hold the antenna. I need one but I want two so I can run two antennas.
You are lucky. You have a bunch of good dudes around in your area and I'm sure they will help you get started and all alon the way too. I'm sure they'll chime in here soon. I would suggest buying your first truck from a member, you can't go wrong that way. And for God sake if you don't buy from...
You rebuilt an in tank pump? I wasn't aware that you could do anything to them other than replacing the bottom part. I have one with a bad motor in it.
I know it is called a flexplate, I've worked in the transmission business since I was 16. Most people know them as flywheels whether in an automatic or standard equipped vehicle, and being as the O.P said he doesn't even know what a harmonic balancer is I wanted to put it in simplest terms. I...
Have 5-6 complete AS-3900 antennas and a few bases, brand new freightliner work lights that come with the M915/916. I am also looking for a good condition 1100R20 NDT on a deuce rim.
Yeah that would be the way to go if you can get that knuckle. As far as the add a leaf goes though, i wouldn't do it. Have to agree with Patracy. I do like the longer shackle idea though, and you could build some longer drop spring hangers as well.
Roger that. Have you looked into building a new one out of chrome-moly DOM tubing and heims? There are some really beefy heims out there now and some are even rebuildable.
