We can show up Wednesday right? Or is it Thursday that's the earliest you like to see people there? I'll need two shirts in large please. I'm good for it. Have a bunch of other stuff I'm bringing for you anyway Tim.
Yeah mine acts this way when my filters start to get plugged. I pulled the fuel pump and cleaned out as much crap as I could by hand with rags and tank cleaner and it helped a whole lot. You may be surprised at how much rusty crap is sloshing around in the bottom of your tank.
I was able to find a suitable nut at Fastenal, though it was special order. Luckily someone had ordered several nuts and never picked them up. Should be able to order a bolt as well to fit. I only lost the nut, not the bolt.
Best thing for cleaning corrosion from a pcb is a can of liquid wrench penetrating oil and a stuff toothbrush.
And for case corrosion white vinegar works wonders. After treating with vinegar let the aluminum dry naturally, then spray with the red colored battery terminal protectant that comes in...
Some careful visual inspection will go a long way too. 95% of the time battery cable problems are within 3 inches of one of the connection points. Look for broken conductor strands and inner- insulation corrosion.
That winch would be good for a pole truck. Fab up a set of Jin poles, hang a snatch block off the end, and run the cable over the block. Good for moving heavy things around the property. Or you could just be like me and buy a wrecker...
Dude, leave that junk right where it is. That is an antique winch for a wrecker or tractor or something. Of course it may be worth something, you could maybe sell it and put the money toward a real deuce winch.
Simple easy one for you goat owners here. What are the approximate dimensions of the goat tractor by itself, and of the trailer by itself? Really trying to figure out if the tractor will fit in a deuce bed without the trailer and I couldn't find dimensions for the two separately.
To SOME people just an LDS motor is worth what you paid for the truck. Looks like you made a good purchase, now replace that turd in your avatar with your new green turd!
Maybe I'll offer them $100 and see if they bite then. And I may be able to get it to you up there for free when I ship my Dad's deuce up there to him if you want it that bad. Idk if I really want to put any money into it.
