I do remember that it is the one for the ford V-8. I worked parts back before the computers so we memorized a lot of the common part numbers.

Mine came with the spin on. I have not bought anything yet but I need to get some plugs and fuel filters from them. I am looking the gens over...
Does anyone have a number for the spin on oil filter used on the 10kw mep18-a with the 4ao84 engine? I think it might be a fram PH8A since Saturn Surplus lists the part number for it as 8A. I got one today and will try it on the genset this weekend and post the results. As I remember from my...

RE: Slave cable adaptor
Dave,
I have already bid on the one on ebay and have found where it is listed at Saturn surplus. I appreciate the offer and will keep you in mind if the deal falls through.
Jones,
Thanks for posting the number. I had looked but this one was listed after I had...
Does anyone know where I can get a cover for my m103 gen trailer. It is like the m105 but is slightly longer and has no sides. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Chuck
Does anyone know where I can get the two pin slave cable to Nato single pin adaptor so I can jump my gens with my newer style slave cable?
Thanks
Chuck
Paul,
Did you bid on them? I saw one at General Jims when we were up there. I looked at the photos and I think they are missing the burner assemblies. I did not work directly with them but worked closely with the mess section (remember the water buffalo story) and I remember them lighting the...
I am glad my info helped you out. I know a little about sos stuff but mostly I know the law enforcement stuff. If I don't know the answer I can look it up when I get back to work. PM me with any questions and I can try to answer. As far as the antique plates, I have them on my deuce and do use...
Mine drives great and I drive it as a daily driver. I have it on the freeway once in a while and it can keep up with 70 with little problems or extra noise. I will be making a 200 mile trip with it tommarow. I have driven it to shows and it has been great. When taking the family I take my excursion.
Everytime I see these videos it brings me back to my days in the first gulf war. Kind of gives me that left out feeling. Especially when the the 101st Airborne is involved.
Disconnect the batteries. Then install making sure the extra ground wire is disconnected. Reconnect the batteries. You do not want to connect power to the switch without the extra ground connected. Plugging in the plug with the batteries connected will power the switch no matter what position...
I drove a hemtt in the army and the truck does not have a "trailer unit" The front power section is on the same frame as the back wheels. It does not pivot in the middle like some front end loaders. The front wheels turn at different rates to make up for two different axles steering. Did you...
Are you sure the click while you are cranking is not the glow plug relay. I can tell when my plugs are on because they will draw the voltage down into the top of the yellow region then when they go off the needle goes back to green. I don't know about the other stuff.
I saw a self loading trailer on GL. It looked like it had a crane on the front. Looked pretty cool to me. I just wonder where it got the power for the hydraulics?
RE: dead bolt
The hole work great with the military issue 5200 padlocks. When they are installed the lever can't be pulled up far enough to release the latch. Mine has been reinforced by adding a plate in the back welded to the side of the compartment that does not rely on the latch to keep the...
I drove a 900 series in the first gulf war and the ratings were just like every other medium to heavy duty truck. Five tons during operations over unimproved roads and trails and 10 tons over regular roads. By unimproved I mean trails and off road. Unless they have changed things dramatically...
I opened it up and it was obvious what was fried. I took the number and got the relays from an electronics catalog. I can't remember the name but they are the go to people for electronic components. I then had my aunt put them in. They are surface mount so they require professional to do. My...
The guy on ebay screwed you. I got screwed the same way. Their are 4 small surface mount relays that usually are the ones that blow. I had mine replaced and have not had any other problems with it at all. I also carry my old switch in the tool box just in case.
