Maybe in TX but in MI they are usually sent to the crusher since the trucks are usually rusted away. They also don't have enough of a need for older parts so instead they strip what they can then crush the rest. Window regulators are not on the top of the want list.

I tried classifieds with no results. I almost have this thing ready for the road and I need a rear window, the regulator assembly, and the outside window crank (even if it is broken). Thanks Chuck

Did you get them running yet Paul? Where did you find the part between the engine and gen?

You can reconfigure the hold downs to hold a regular battery. A 24 group battery is the one if I am not mistaken.

Mike, Where did you get your propane carb? If I had a propane I think it is just a small step to convert to natural gas. I plan on getting a dual kit for my small gen but if I can get the big one to run off the natural gas I will give up my plans on the small one.

I found out that a group 51 battery fits almost perfectly in place of the military 2hn batteries. I found them at the local auto parts store.

There is a manual in the manual section that shows the proper 3 color nato pattern for all sorts of vehicles. You need black and brown.
