The winch is no hurry. My trips to Blairsville are so short and activity packed that I may not be able to make it over the mountain. Next one comes in the March/April time frame.
Lots of great points made here. As some know, I'm (trying) to put together a CUCV based wrecker. Not wanting to keep all my eggs in one basket, it will have a hydraulic (or two) on the back and electric on the front. Nothing against a PTO winch, it's just lots of fab to add one to a CUCV...

Ryan, the same argument might be valid with all the FDs and PDs that have them. The emissions thing was solved with the last sales scare, a simple memorandum. I'm sure a simple memorandum is all that is required to work this out. The GA MVPAC might be able to get it going!
