Engine Wont Run After Setting Up For 2 YEARS.

Do you get fuel if you crack the secondary filter bleed valve? Some places will test old style injectors like these for free. You could try that also.

    M35A1 engine

For some reason the attachment does not work for me. Can you try re-posting? Do others get an error? I poked around and the 4-450 turbo seems to have been used on late 60's Volvo trucks and buses. Any chance they used the multifuel engine?

    Deuce Fuel Tank Blanket

You can make a simple copper heat exchanger with materials at your local HW store. Say a 1/2 inch through tube with 3/4 inch tube over it and a T and reducer on each end. If you do a web search for it many engineering schools have student make a simple heat exchanger like this in the lab for...

    Deuce Fuel Tank Blanket

Any heating of fuel should be approched with caution and should always be attended unless proper controls are in place. My 2 cents... I designed some industrial equipment that used stick-on heaters with orange silicone rubber on them some years ago. I don't recall who supplied them. They...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I finally got a chance to have a little “truck time.” Drained the transmission and transfer case fluids and gave them a week to finish dripping out. Used brake fluid to spray into the bottom of the transmission to wash the sludge and metal powder out of it. The transfer case had a magnetic...

    Transmission drain/fill plug

I know what is in the TM's, yet it seems that doesn't correspond to the fill plug. I was always taught to fill to a little under the fill plug. My transmission definitely had more than what is called out in the TM. I drained my transfer case and transmission, will fill them later this week...

    Blow-by assessment - opinions needed!

The way it makes a distinct puff that seems to be at the frequency of one cylinder makes me think you have a hole or crack in one piston. I don't see an injector adding blowby, but I think a compression check may be helpful.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Nice work! I've been through all of that on my truck and feel much better that is was done. Why do you say you "need" new front u-joints? Are you referring to the u-joints for the short shafts? Do they have extra play or obvious problem? My truck had a bunch of muck that used to be grease...

I think the version you have would work for guys with 365's or 11's. What do you want for it?

    Dim brake light.

I just replaced my brake light switch. The brake lights were not working. I had a buddy push the brake and the switch only dropped to about 700 ohms. It should have dropped to near zero. Now that it was replaced they work fine.
