M35A3 Front and Rear Wiring Harness Connection

Thanks. That's where I thought it was located, but when I couldn't look at my truck I thought I'd make certain. I had a fire which burned up the front wiring harness and I wanted to make sure I didn't need a rear wiring harness as well.

M35A3 Front and Rear Wiring Harness Connection

Does anyone know the location where the rear wiring harness on an M35A3 plugs into the front wiring harness? I can't look at my truck right now and I can't find it in the TMs.

    M35A3 tire repair Assistance Question

I would think the trucking company would be liable for the tire damage. I would take photos of all of the tires showing the damage while the truck is still loaded and file a claim. you could also try to take them to small claims court. If the tires are damaged, you don't want to try and use them.

    MEP 003A Unstable Voltage

I had exactly the same problem - verbatim. I replaced the transistor on the VR board and it fixed my problem. I suspected the pot as well, but it turned out to be the transistor. I can't take credit since Speddmon is the one that pointed me in the right direction. The key is never idle the...

    CTIS blank display

Have you read the TMs? M35a3 rim leaking

When the wheel halves are separated, I use a wire brush wheel on a drill motor and clean both halves. I then paint the o-ring sealing surfaces on both halves with Rustoleum high gloss black paint. I wait a week to put back together to make sure the paint is fully cured. I install the O-rings...

Found nice m35a3 bought it few questions

Put good tires on the truck. Then, turn off the CTIS and run 60 PSI in the tires. The truck will handle much better and the tires will last longer. The Michelin wheels are red-lined at 60 PSI. I found an NOS Haldex air dryer on Ebay for a reasonable price. You can also rebuild them with a...

    Adding PTO winch

Make sure you know how many gaskets to install on the PTO for the proper backlash. It's easier to find a deuce with a winch.

    XM1061E1 Trailer Brake Shoes

Well, I found NOS shoes on Ebay and I just received them today. They were new in the box and have the correct P/N 7064978 on both the boxes and shoes. However, the shoes that came off my XM1061E1 have 3/8 inch thick lining and the new shoes only have 1/4 inch thick lining. Otherwise they are...

    XM1061E1 Trailer Brake Shoes

I've been looking at the now-removed shoes from the XM1061E1 trailer. They are marked 7064979, which is the shoe only, sans lining. The Assembly P/N is 7064978. The CAGE is 19207. All of the shoes are marked Made in Canada. Both left and right shoes are identical. The lining is 3" wide and...

    XM1061E1 Trailer Brake Shoes

I found the same problem. I have both an M105A2 and an M149A2 water buffalo and both take the same shoes, wheel cylinders, etc. Unfortunately, both trailers are located in a remote part of my property and I don't really want to move either of them to level ground right now to pull a drum. I...

    XM1061E1 Trailer Brake Shoes

I need brake shoes for my 1061 trailer. The shoes are 15" and 3" wide. They look like M105 shoes in the TM. Does anyone know if they are the same as M105 shoes? I'm not sure if the 105 has 15" brakes or not.

    M35A3 Transmission overfill?

This should be in the 5-ton forum. However, overfilling an automatic transmission can be very bad and can damage the transmission. You need to read the TMs and search for the vent and make sure it is not plugged. Drain any excess fluid from the transmission. Fluid levels are checked for most...

    problems with interstate batteries

Deca also makes 6TLs. When I was looking for inexpensive new 6TLs, the closest Deca dealer that would sell them to me was in Alabama, so I stuck with Interstates.

    problems with interstate batteries

I have 6TLs from Interstate in both of my deuces and A2 and an A3. The A2 batteries from the Army had a date code of 2007. They failed after almost exactly 6 years of age and I replaced them with new Interstate 6TLs. My A3 has Interstate 6TLs installed by the Army and they have date codes of...

    MEP 003A: No Oil Pressure

Rosie, the 003A has a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Before you do anything else, I would confirm that the unit actually doen't have oil pressure. If you don't have a spare gauge, go to any auto parts store and purchase the cheapest pressure gauge you can find that you can attach the hose to...

Official 2014 SS Georgia Rally Info SSGR14 thread

Robo, The rally starts (officially) on Wednesday October 8. You need to fly into Atlanta (ATL). If you arrive on Monday the 6th, I can pick you up at the airport, and take you to my place where we have plenty of room for you to stay. You can then ride down to the rally with me in my M35A3 or...

    Air-O-Matic adjustment

I had to replace the pressure regulator on my A3 system. After replacement, mine tended to oversteer as you mentioned and the steering was much more sensitive than with the old regulator. I backed off the pressure a little and this fixed the problem. Is your regulator adjustable?
