have you tried to adjust the valves yet? i was having pump trouble also, freed it up for now but would like a lead on one if i can. were did you find yours? how much? but as ike said the pump is probly out a little. jim
ike ,yes thats where i got it. do you know anyhting about it? looked like it sat a long time. iagree on the pump sure would be nice to have a spare. the fuel didnt look to bad . my low fuel switch has a fracture in the shaft. got one comming.
i was running the ubit on battleshort to bypass the low fuel switch and speed switch. i knew the day tank was full. as far as the speed i removed the top again to get another look at the throttle linkage and noticed a lot of slack in the cam so i adjusted that thumb screw at the rear of pump...

no i havnt had one of these before. i had trouble with the day take float switch wasnt moving freely. i have fuel to the pump but nothing out. ive replaced the filters and purged up to the pump. is their anyone you use for your pumps? jim
the pump is a roosa master dbmfc 433-1lk. i have seen what looks like the same pump with the stanadyne name with the same number as above. theirs a cover plate on the side about inch and a half long and 3/4 wide. i have flow to the pump but nothing out.
i have a 004 that has set for a long time. cant get fuel to the injectors. removed the top to look at the shut off sol. the fuel looks old and the cavity has a film on eveything. iam getting 24 volts engine cranking. anyone have any tips on what i can look for. anyone know of someone that can...
i purchaced one several years ago 100 used and did the mod.. i also bought the slave recep., bracket and switch. they are good folks never had a problem. cant believe thier that much though. will spin the 3kw fast. ive seen em on ebay 50 bucks.

015a i had one. it would handle a 1500 watt load easy.theirs a switch in the control box to allow 220 volt. uses .5 gph if the carb. and plugs are good not to hard to start. theirs a prime lever on the fuel pump to get gas to the carb. before starting.
did you line up the mag. timming mark to the camshaft gear timming mark? do you have the engine manual? i sent you a pm from me with the link to the engine manual? on page 4-43 mag. istall.
i use a mep-802a as my go to set and have in the past used rottella 15/40 synthetic and switched this year to amsoil 10w30/sae 30, thats right it confused me too, they told me this is to take the place of 10w30 and straight 30. i have it in this set now. guess ill see this winter how it acts...

when you time the engine with the light its at full rated speed 3600 rpm. the tm tells you how to set it up while its off. so get it up to speed right away if you can. you need tm 5-2805-259-14 on the engine. their are some tms on this sight under the resource section at the top of this page...
the a/c reg. is located in the bottom left of the control box. open the panel let it tilt down and take a look. if it went south then volts would be low or fliuctuating on this set, i think. check your set at the convenice receptical in front or at the output lugs and see if you can still adjust...
