gcbennet, Yes the frame date stamp is stamped right into the rear face of the frame end cap. You will have to get that thick carc off to find it most likely. Some of the numbers may be upside down.
NDT, the body tub number is stapmed there. There is no date code in it. It's just a number to...
The fluid from the cooler is draining back. It can siphon back and almost entirley drain the trans oil cooler. You might have a leaky dipstick tube seal where it enters the trans at the right front corner just above the trans pan.
Kascar has the M1097 type two man hard top setup for sale. It looks like the early civi two man hard tops. They have them in CARC Green. You won't find it on their web site, you need to call and ask about it.
It stripped for a reason. Maybe the oilite bushings in one or both of the wiper pivots are worn out or rusting of the shaft that passes through them is the cause.
Seems like a loose spindle nut. If it is, you should have oil leaking all over the place though. if it is, get the later type nut with the appropriate star lock thingie and then install according to the tm. Then you'll just have to check all three other hubs to be shure they are OK or to upgrade...
H "hight differentiated" is for use on hard roads. You may fight a bit of friction from the differential in the T Case, but it will be nothing like being in HL "high locked" where you can be stopped by the binding.
If your fuel return lines are cracked and leaking it will cause a low pressure situation at the injector pump and it will retard the timing. This could be causing your stalling problem. Your injector pump could be the problem as well, but why not wait and change all of those little hoses and the...
I'd say that the rhino lifts were used about five to six years ago. They get in the way on cargo models, but they could have been installed on those. They definitly were installed on the Slantback models of that era.
The Rhino Lift actually went through TACOM Testing and was attached to Humvees when they shipped from AMG. Others may have an NSN and could have been bought by units and attached to their Humvees by them, but as far as I know the Rhino is the only one that came with Humvees. So it's just like...
The filler panel that closes off the door opening has a piece rived to it that extends inwards and fills the gap that the seat back does not fill when in the "bed" configuration. Rain, snow and dirt will still get in below all of these parts, but it's basically closed off.
The seat back panels that were pictured would have a cushion attached and they are placed down behind the seat base to form the seat back. They are lifted out and laid down, with the cushion facing down and towards the front, to form the floor for when the side filler panels are installed and...
your foto is showing the latest, as far as I know, IBISTEK Tire carrier. Still has the silly cable and crank handle spool, but other than that, it seems good. IT holds the tire more centered and higher so it does not seem to interfere with hitching up a military trailer with surge brake and it...
