What '2 sensors' did you not change? If you are referring to the fast idle solenoid, and the cold advance solenoid that is fine.
What I am wondering, is did you change the temperature sensors in the head. The military uses 2 or 3 of them. (I dont recall exactly all of them) I know there is...
tut, I would suggest you buy the B&M kit. Ask devilman96, he just bought one for his... and says its fully adjustable.
Also, check with your tranny shop... the 82 is a model you shouldnt drive without the lockup happening.
They do to much easier 4 wheels down... than NONE down

Kenny is spot on. They tow great like that too.... When you remove the rear driveshaft, leave it in the tcase, and tie it up. Otherwise you will leak fluid out of it.
You should really do some google searching on this. Depending on what year the tranny is, what model the vehicle its out of... there is about 5+ different pinouts, and function.
Also, year depending... you can fry the transmission if its not locking up!!
The way I have mine currently wired...
First of all... you will have MUCH better luck posting this in the CUCV section (I will move it for you)
Second of all... Do a search... just browse the CUCV section... Heck, read teh FAQ and Wiki....
These are BASIC questions, and are answered many many times over.
Also ALWAYS replace ALL...

I think the 'assumption' that its bad has been...
Yes... 5 minutes of browsing through the deuce forum, and/or searching, would have answered all his questions quite well. Will give him much better education than in just one thread.
And if you want to resort to censored name calling.... you are going to have problems here.
Yes...
I will restate, I am pretty confident the resistor cant fail in such a mode... unless its highly visible. Can you take a picture or 2 of your resistor please?
