Got it solved! I sat back down with Gen 1 and torn into it again. I had one fiber washer out of place. Corrected the fiber washer and put it all back together. Mounted the alt in the truck, crossed my fingers and fired it up .... Gen 1 light went out! Turns out the rebuild was necessary it...
