Great, thanks Wayne!
I'm installing a temp gauge and auxiliary cooler for the transmission. I'm also wiring up a switch on the dash to control lockup, selecting between auto lockup in 4th, manual lock in 2nd 3rd or 4th, and no lockup. I'm routing that through an LED next to the dash switch...
I've finished building a 700r4 that I have bolted up to the 6.2. I'm ready to hook up the tv cable. I have the TV Cable Bracket for the 6.2/700r4 but I can't figure out how it's supposed to be installed. I've tried googling but I'm getting no luck.
How does the bracket attach to the motor, to...
The original poster has an '84 m1009 and is wanting to know if an '88 civy k5 top will fit. The post on the K5 year ranges with swappable tops is applicable because that is what the poster is trying to figure out.

Turns out the rebuild was necessary it...

I searched online for a verification of my upcoming comment, but I can't find one.
I was told by a mechanic that GM put out a notice to dealerships to NOT flush transmissions. Flushes were just a money making scheme for shops, as a previous post stated. You are always better off dropping the...
Not upside down. The hump is facing up to the adapter
That crossmember shown in the TM looks U shaped from end to end, mine is straight. It was straight when it came off the truck too.
No funny business here.
I pulled my transmission, transfer case, and cross member. I got all the grime off and started putting it all back together.
Transmission is on the jack and bolted to the engine. I put the adapter on the back of the trans and went to put the cross member on so I could...
