Depends on your driveway and the weather really. If you have a half mile drive that takes a couple of hours to plow, the reserve of one battery may fade. Short term I think it would work.
Also, unless you can completely isolate the ground on your pump, you will need to use the front battery.
Actually, it's a great candidate for a crew cab conversion. The 939 cabs are 10" wider than a deuce cab. Coincidentally, the back of a deuce cab is 10" wider than the front.
This equates to the fact that the front of the 939 cab is almost exactly the same width as the back of the M35A2 cab. By...
Then there's the M1061A1. It's heavy at 5850# but it does have 168" of deck which will fit the 131.5" of wheelbase of the Norway truck. The bed will overhang a bit for sure.
The spindle on the axle housing could be bent but that wouldn't cause a wobble. I can only see a few things wrong to cause this. Bad bearings in the hub, a warped or bent wheel mounting surface on the hub or most likely, a bent drum. Since the drum is seated on the hub and the studs pressed...
While up on the stands, run the wheel mounting surface against a dial indicator. If the wms is nearly true than a bent drum is likely. It could have been dropped on a drum and bent it that way.
100,000 comics out of work and you 2 clowns are trying to be funny. PMD=FSD. PMD is pump mounted driver also referred to fuel solenoid driver. Now I'm going to Hotel Delta for Black Friday!
All of my 6.5 woes were usually a result of the PMD. It was more of a hot start issue but I've also had some that just failed. I can tell you this from experience, the optical encoder absolutley refuses to do it's job if there is waste oil in the fuel. Non tax dye never had an effect on it.
I agree with the 10%. I often shoot for a little more just for peace of mind. I have a golf cart that is very heavy in the back. I take this to the rallys all the time in the back of an M101A3. The back tires are right at the edge of the bed. I really have to load the front of the trailer to...
Oh crap. I was having such a wonderful Thanksgiving. Devin was one of my LEO brothers. My heart aches tonight for his family's loss. I know Devin will suffer no more as he takes his seat beside the Father but ........wow, 38. I will pray for the comfort, understanding and guidance for his...
The M36A2 had a 17' bed, the box on the M146 is 22'. Simple math from there. Removing the axle from the 7000# + M146 ill trim off about 1300#. Figure it will weigh about 2000# more than an M109A3. Doable for sure but moving the tandems and setting up that long drive shaft will take some figuring.
Here is the hoist method referenced earlier. FYI, the project hasn't moved since my last post, had to be back burnered

I think the practical options have been covered. The adapters posted above may equal or exceed to cost of a replacement axle for your trailer. The replacement axle if ordered with brakes would obviously be more. Look in detail at the other option, the truck axles. What do you use the Oh9...
The bleed port on the front spews fuel all about. That's the reason many have installed a valve in the extra port for bleeding. As for the line on the old base, that is for draining water or other foreign objects from the filter. The element you are about to install has a drain valve as well.
