it would really help to put a few thousand lb's in the bed of the one doing the pulling and go slow. brakes will be really straining to slow you down.
do not try and tow across anything but pavement and even then watch the truck being towed very carefully as it's front wheels will like to snap...
every state is different, check local laws. It's all about how you are going to use it.
If it were me, and is is bc I have one too, I have my class A, commercial insurance, commercial tags, commercial medical card DOT and MCC numbers as well as any IFTA decals I may need for where I'm going...
I'm sorry but even painted black it still looks like pvc. not a big fan but if you like it then it's yours to keep. my suggestion is that you have made a great pattern, take it to a muffler shop and have it copied in metal tubing.
I've put 20k miles on my deuce and air tool oil is working great, not a single brake problem so far. use what you want just make sure it works bc with a single circuit system there is no room for error.
thats cool. I bought that hoist from a member on here and kept it for a few yrs and never used it, kinda wish I had just to say I'd done it. enjoy it. :)
