Didn't we go through this back in December already when all of a sudden GL pulled all the trailers and trucks off their auctions and then they reappeared several days later after a full review of the classification of the items? If all of the vehicles were going to be mutilated and reclaimed...
I was talking to a motor Sgt. the other day and he informed me that at a couple of sites that he knew of the units were told that they were no longer allowed to purchase parts for M35A2s and that GL was going to be getting rid of all of them by the end of this year. He knew of atleast 700...

Helps to prevent diesel from gel and adds some lubrication to the new ULSD fuel. Used by a lot of diesel owners (myself included).

This is probably one of the most common versions of the product issued at truck stops for gel...
Like wsucougarx said it could be batteries most of the time, but a deuce I looked at last week wouldn't start due to fuel leaking on the injector lines. I have seen on past auctions that the engine was in the bed of the truck and that is why it wouldn't start....go figure. Fluids could be...
Get online with the live help and verify that they actually got the information. There have been many guys on here complain that nothing has happened with their EUC when all of a sudden they a notice from GL that their account is deliquint/locked and they have to pay to get it unlocked. Come...
If the "originals" still work :-D But just pointing out that what is listed on GL for hours/miles and what can actually be on the truck are way different. Also, when they do an engine swap (was told this by a Sgt. on base) they don't necessarily do a tach reset so there is no telling what is...
Went and inspected some Deuces not too long ago and guess what I found in the cab on the floor....a second instrument panel. Shows you exactly what Bruce and CC have said, the gauges in the dash don't mean much, especially if you find the "original" sitting on the floor in the cab.
After this vehicle was brought back to the states it provided security detail at a nuclear storage facility (as I was told anyway) so I'm guessing that might have something to do with the short seat.
Had a SS member request that I provide some interior and exterior pics of the V100 that I have access to as well as the s/n. This particular vehicle saw action in Vietnam and actually hit a land mine over there. Here are the pics and in the data plate pic you can read the s/n of the vehicle. We...
While you're doing this put a piece of wood and metal behind the nut and tighten the nut down against the metal during the hitting so that it has some pressure pushing the lunette out. Thats what worked for me, didn't even need the fire wrench or the liquid wrench to get it removed.
There was no vin or any identifying information listed by GL during the sale (not totally suprised if there wasn't by the way)? Go back through your online records with GL and see if you can find anything they have listed. 2cents
I tried it a couple of years ago for a few tanks just for ****s and giggles. No difference noticed. I had my dad try it in his half-ton and it helped the really "cheap" quality gasonline burn more similar to the better quality stuff. Not sure if this was due to the "molecular bonding" idea or...
Give me until this weekend as I'll be out at our museum where we have one. I have to take some pics of our V100 as is and start the M60A3 thats sitting 15 ft from the M75 so it won't be any hassle to get you some photos. The interior on this one is not 100% restored (plus its locked and...
