When you add the frame extension on the back, are you going to shift the axles back any? I mean you're going to have a good bunch of bed behind the axles, as opposed to having the axles pretty near the center of the bed as on the M813s... Just a question.

The closest would be from XM designation to M- designation as they shifted to full contract production, and then the A1 ISO-bed equipped trucks, but there were no major changes, as in powerplant or structural changes. Until the 939 series, that is.

That's when Gimpy's cut up power poles come in handy... just stack them on top of the jack. When you max out the jack, pop the jack stands under, release the jack, add another block on top of it, and have at it again.

That's a pretty smart idea. The ole man and his friends did a similar thing with a cut out hole in their exhaust pipes pre-muffler and some wing nuts, on their Buicks and things back around 1958. Good way to be able to choose whether you hear the "music" or not!
