Keep it stock. Change the tires. Change the paint. Get another one. Bob that one. Then you have one of each. Nice deuce by the way, always good to see another rescued and to hear about another good recovery.

All the heavy trucks of like the 40s and 50s (dump trucks etc...) were chain drive and used solid tires... at least the civvy ones.

M818 need help with paint touch up-pics included

The green is 383 Green. I don't know if Gillespie comes in rattle cans, but apparently their 383 is a pretty close to exact match with 383 CARC. Not sure about the tan though. Nice tractors.

Sign up thread for the HASPIN RALLY - June 19-21 2008

Be careful- that's probably against OSHA regulations, and will most likely void your health insurance! One of these years I'll go crazy and come to one of these midwest rallies... right now I just have to go crazy and find something of mine here at home that ain't broke and fix it until it is!

    M37 in movies and TV

RE: Re: M37 in movies and TV Same with the Dirty Dozen. I believe the M37 in that even had combat rims on it... Should I talk about Patton, where they used ONLY gasser M35s and M3 halftracks and M48 tanks, both for the allies and the Gerrys? Honestly, these people need to hire a real MV...

    Deuce bobbed or 6x6?

6x6 with super singles. Although I'd be curious to see how a bobbed deuce with larger shoes performs in the snow... Hell, why not get 2? EDIT: Plus with the standard tandem axles, you get a very cool looking and unmistakeable truck, and a good bit of cargo capacity. In my opinion singles look...

    Different types of primers?

I'm truly clueless, and the past hour of Googling away hasn't helped. Does anyone know a good website about the different types of automotive primers, or would somebody mind sharing a bit of their wisdom? I finally got a sand blaster and some spraying equipment, so now I need to educate myself...

    M37 in movies and TV

Neat. There weren't any in Goldfinger, although there was a M43 ambulance in there. (M37 w/ ambulance box). They also missed the several M37s in Good Morning Vietnam

    XM818 in Amish Country

Seeing as it was rebuilt at the Albany Marine Base, would it have the locked rear axles even though its a tractor?

    Stretch's Haspin road train

So who's driving the rear escort car to catch the things that fall off? You might want to find a hi-speed front-end loader...
