    rtv will work just fine. make darn sure the bolt AND threads are free of ANY oil and let it dry before adding oil to it.

    air leak in the fuel system. hundereds of posts covering the entire system. search can and will aid you in your quest. start with the spider valve and replace anything not solid. ie all rubber lines. you can use a little more fuel but NO MORE RPM'S.

    you might want to seperate the vent from the rest of the system. wouldn't want to introduce fuel to the brake system.

    I used the freeze plug heater in my 6.2. one in each side of the motor. keeps my motor about 110 degs in 30 deg weather. I love it.

    you need to go ahead and swap out the filters. last thing we need to hear is how you pull started it 1 more time and ran into the back of the guy pulling you bc the throttle stuck or he stopped short when you didn't have any air built up or any 1 of 10 things.

    I dunno but pumping the pedal does nothing but make your foot tired. it does nothing to the IP, the IP sets WOT when the eng is shhut down and during cranking. so moving the throttle does nothing.

    do you show oil pressure on the gauge even though you aren't getting any top the top? how long did you let it run before you shut it off when you were looking at the top end? it can take quite a while to get oil all the way up there esp if it's been sitting.
