mine starts great weather or not it's plugged in too BUT, It sounds like a can or marbles being shook to death and it's frigid cold. I'd have to wait 10-15 min of idle time for it to warm up before I could start my drive.
But if it's plugged in, I can jump in and go like it was a summer day.
all normal all good. you can buy a little later model of the same antenna that automatically tunes itself. if you don't hear the clicking then don't transmit after channel swapping. lots of times in the cold the motor will snap it's drive shaft and won't properly tune the antenna and burn...
yes you can add all that stuff but you will need to mod the hood bc it's too tall to fit. if you look at your front valve cover now it's almost touching the hood as is.
if I were to guess I'd say that the trans converter isn't unlocking fast enough and there may or may not be a fix for that.
I suspect the only real fix might be a reprogramming of the unlock speed to a higher number such that it would give you a few more milliseconds of time before coming to...

nope. separate ends of the truck.
level winders ONLY came on 5T (and 10T and bigger rear drag line setups M911 and M123) trucks and only originally on the front of the 816 and other 5T wreckers.
they can be fitted to any 20k garwood 5T winch but are not the only part of the system required...
