Mk93’s amd 64’s are not easy to find...cheaply anyway. They come up, but they are not plentiful by any stretch of the imagination, especially right now with everyone doing turrets...it is a controlled item at the Govt level.
I have Mk93’s available, they need pins. Sell the M23 mount, it won’t work on the setup you have, that was olden days of when they didn’t have chicken shields. Modern day uses small pintle for hmmwv’s on all the
mounts.
if you look at the auctions, there hasn’t been any real number of army trucks for some time.
on FB there is forum run by Dave Demorrow Called AMVO, association of military vehicle owners that tracks this kind of stuff.
while not hmmwv, a lot of it can be used on a hmmwv, I would have take it apart and compare the bearing too an m1151, slam hatch mechanism looks to be same as m1151. I would need to compare the weapons tray also.
USMC trucks have clear SF97’s with no restrictions.
DLA Army trucks have the off road stamp and restriction, there are no more Army Hmmwv’s coming out.
out of state plates are fine, as long as your address is in that state, your DL is in that state...nothing they can do.
if you live in California go the LLC route...nothing they can do
The problem is getting the vin verification, you have none of the below that will make your truck pass Calif requirement.
-50 state emissions compliance decal
-FMVSS decal
-no 17 digit vin
DMV changed the VIN Ver form specifically to stop titleing former MV’s.
I’m sure all thats been done is the GP relay in the box have been bypassed and The new unit connected in its place.
All the boxes have the same thing in common, a GP relay and a timer, the timer releases the GP relay after 9 seconds.
